If you have children, theme park parades and rides are going to be a part of your future. You may choose to go to local parks that are a bit more affordable and smaller in scale, or you may opt to spring for the dream trip to Disney or Universal Studios.
Instead of just going to the theme park to get on the rides or watch the parades, plan ahead to attend one of the many special events that they throw. Consider one of these:
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party
Whether you are at Disney World or Disney Land in California or Paris, you can make the holidays special by attending Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. The park closes a bit early and opens only to ticket holders for this special event after dark. The entire park is lit up with Christmas lights, and you can enjoy free hot chocolate and carol singers around the park. You’ll also get a special parade, pin and other treats.
Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party
Mickey and the gang are a much friendly way to celebrate this holiday than ghouls and goblins. Characters like Elsa or Snow White may be dressed up for the holiday, but they offer much friendlier faces. The setup for this event is the same as the Christmas party, and you’ll enjoy special treats, decorations and keepsakes during the exclusive event.
Macy’s Holiday Parade
You don’t have to go to New York to enjoy the Macy’s Holiday Parade. Head down to Universal Studios Orlando to see the floats you love, including all your favorite cartoon and movie characters. You might even see a favorite character from McDonald’s or another favorite eatery.
When you’re done, you can head over to the Grinchmas celebration at the Islands of Adventure, including a Who-liday Spectacular.
Make your holidays and your theme park visit more special by attending one of these exclusive, annual events.
